This course will examine current models for understanding and treating addictions and trauma, including medical, psycho-dynamic, family systems and psycho spiritual. Assessment procedures, evidence based effective treatments and interventions and other historical and current issues in addictions and trauma will be addressed, including the use of art-based interventions.
